Antonia Lindsey, PCC

Antonia Lindsey is a professional coach. In her practice, she operates on the premise that life is full of transformation and change. She is dedicated to helping people discover their dreams, create intentions to fulfill those dreams and lead a richer, more rewarding life. Her greatest joy is supporting people in their personal transformation and life transitions.

She earned her coaching certification from The Newfield Network, through the Coaching for Professional and Personal Mastery program.

Her clients have successfully used her coaching skills to prepare for job interviews, initiate difficult conversations in their business and personal lives and to create dynamic, transforming, future visions for their lives.

Antonia was with the SYDA Foundation for 16 years, an international nonprofit organization. Prior to entering the coaching field, she was a member of the Human Resource team. Her responsibilities included placement of new and existing staff to ensure that personal skills and styles matched the needs of the work, assigning volunteers in both seasonal and permanent positions, developing and facilitating orientations, conducting interviews and reviews of job performance. She facilitated transitions to other jobs during a “downsizing” type of reorganization.

Among her varied skills in professional communication, she excels in assisting individuals in creating personal and professional goals to obtain success. She has developed and delivered workshops in communication skills, organizational and personal conflict resolution, and parenting. And as a facilitator she has conducted study groups and seminars, taught courses in meditation and hatha yoga.

Antonia was a Licensed Psychiatric Technician and has worked as a nurse counselor in hospitals’ mental health units in California.

She trained and worked as a cosmetologist for many years prior to entering the mental health field.

From these varied professions she has learned the value of empathetic listening, building trust, and cutting to the heart of what truly matters. This, in turn, contributes to her unique ability to engage her clients in active conversations for living a joyfully responsible life. As a result, her clients are able to make life-transforming changes in both their personal and professional lives.

She has been practicing meditation and yoga for 25 years. She loves walking in the country and by the ocean, practicing yoga, spending time with her family and friends, and exploring the mysteries of life.
